Restaurant and Lounge Manager

About the Role
Repub Lounge is seeking an experienced and ambitious Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire our team while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and independent professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment and demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the daily operations of both Front-of-House and Back-of-House to ensure seamless, high-quality service.

  • Maintain a hands-on presence, supporting staff as needed and proactively solving issues.

Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate team members, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.

  • Schedule shifts, manage performance evaluations, and develop talent to grow within the organization.

Guest Experience & Satisfaction

  • Champion a guest-first mindset, resolving any concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.

  • Consistently seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat visits.

Financial & Inventory Oversight

  • Manage budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

  • Oversee inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring consistent availability of stock.

Menu Development & Promotions

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refresh menu offerings, balancing guest preferences and profitability.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive growth.

Upselling & Revenue Optimization

  • Develop and train staff on effective upselling techniques to increase average spend and promote high-margin items.

Compliance & Standards

  • Uphold strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Ensure staff uniforms are well-maintained and replenished as needed.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide clear, timely performance reports to senior management.

  • Lead weekly department meetings to review performance, address challenges, and align on improvement strategies.

Billing & Credit Collection

  • Oversee bill settlement processes and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
